Young Artists Division

The Young Artists Division (YAD) is the School of NYTB's premier pre-professional training program. Highly concentrated focus on ballet technique, pointe work & variations, partnering, and a rotating series of guest teachers & workshops in Modern, Contemporary, Character & Folk Dance, Jazz & Theater Dance, and Hip-Hop. Selected students are given performing opportunities with New York Theatre Ballet, giving them real exposure to a professional career in the arts.
